We Got Mail!

I have a tradition that is now two missionaries old--that makes a tradition right?  I sent Jake with a "fill-in-the-blank" card in hopes that I would hear from him right away.  He filled it out on Wednesday night and we got it on Saturday.  I wrote the questions so that Jake only had to fill in the answers.  Genius.

My companion's name is:  Elder Matt Hobbins.   He is awesome.  Hard working.  Very outgoing.  Thinks like me.

He is from:  Southern California and serving in Kennewick, Washington.

Missionaries in my district are going:  Santiago, Chile; Resistencia, Argentina; Nashville; Eugene, Phoenix, Kennewick.  Four guys, two girls.

Today I saw: Only people who came my same day here plus one:  Zac Hosman.  I saw Forrest, Allicia, Cody, and Sam (Poulton).  You only know Sam.

I am feeling:  Overwhelmed and tired.  But it is a cool place here, and I will adapt sooo fast!!

About my Spanish group:  We are an intermediate group.  We all took 3+ years of Spanish in school.  Spanish is hard...I'll get it eventually though.

Anything special or interesting:  My companion and I share a birthday!!!!  One of my good friends from Davis High ended up escorting me so we had a nice chat.  My comp looks like Daxton Allsop and he's very gregarious.
